Where Firethorn serves as Randpark's championship test, Bushwillow offers a more relaxed parkland round beneath an abundance of mature, well-established trees. The layout is a classic Robert (Bob) Grimsdell design that prizes shot placement along shaded, tree-framed fairways over sheer length. It is generally regarded as the gentler of the club's two eighteens.

The course traces its origins to Windsor Park, laid out in the 1940s and expanded to a full eighteen holes by the end of that decade, before Grimsdell's extensive redesign reopened it in 1954. In April 2012 it was upgraded by Sean Quinn of Golf Data, who re-routed the nines, added three new holes and rebuilt greens and bunkers; lengthening two par 4s into par 5s brought it to par 72.

Now measuring roughly 6,540 metres, Bushwillow suits golfers who favour a scenic, walkable round over a stern examination, though its trees still demand accuracy from the tee. It shares Randpark Club's clubhouse and semi-private access with Firethorn and is a popular choice for everyday members' play. Together the two courses give Randpark one of the larger golf footprints in northern Johannesburg.
